School competition
Let’s do some research! – We create future
IST Austria’s school competition 2019 is about “We create future”. Looking into the future is always hard. Researchers cannot predict the results of their research. And whether or not they will change future is also uncertain. Fact is curiosity and dreams often start research projects.
We at IST Austria would like to know your ideas and visions:
Category 1: 6–10 years of age (Grade 1–4)
What does daily routine of research look like? Draw a researcher at work!
Categoriy 2: 11–16 years of age (Grade 5–10)
Send us your research project! Let us know the central questions of your project and send us a short report (which might include sketches, diagrams, photos or videos)
Category 3: 16–19 years of age (Grade 11–13)
Submit your paper: VWA / FBA / DIPL! You are working on a paper about a STEM topic? Submit your paper as a PDF file and add a short statement (recommendation and rationale) of your supervisor!
Special award
Innovative VWA idea: Are you in the process of defining an idea for your VWA about a STEM topic? Send us a short description of your VWA or Diplomarbeit!
Send us your ideas and projects by April 30th, 2019 to schule@ist.ac.at!
The award ceremony will be held at the Open Campus of the IST Austria on May 26th, 2019.
